Thank you for stopping by my site.... I'm Peach, a Make Up Artist by day and weaver of Wistful Poetry and Gothic Fiction by night.

I have written ever since I could hold and negotiate a pen, much preferring to write inspired by the wild jungles of my over-active imagination, something that never died with my ascent into adulthood.

My metaphorical desk sat for many years, with half finished stories, brimming with ideas for twisted, gothic tales of ghosts and death, love and fate and all that lay in between, So, after many years of attempting blogging and copywriting as a career, I decided to focus on my two passions, Make Up Artistry, and pursuing my dreams of becoming a published author.

And that starts here...as of November 6th 2015, my first short story eBook 'Poppy and The Devil,' will be available on Amazon to buy.  It is both exhilarating and nerve-wracking to have my first piece of fiction out there, so please do show your support by downloading a copy HERE and do make sure you leave a review, as us Indie Authors are grateful for the support and it helps elevate our work to be seen by more and more readers.

At present, I'm working on another short horror story, due for release in early 2016 and am currently challenging myself with my choice for this year's National Novel Writing Month.  At the start of the year, I started writing poetry, often inspired by events in my own life, I aim to inspire and move with my words.  In September 2015 I launched my Etsy site, 'What Peach Wrote', selling handlettered prints of my poetry from two collections.  The first collection 'The Phoenix and The Flame' is a collection of inspirational poetry prints, whilst 'In Love With Longing' deals with matters of the heart in my very own, wistful way. 

Things you should know about me....I love Make Up, Metal and the Macabre, I worship at the altar of Elvis Presley, I fly on the wings of my eyeliner and the likes of Bronte, Anne Rice and Neil Gaiman continue to inspire me.  Cathy Earnshaw and Jo March are my spirit animals.  I'm a renegade crafter, a rock n roll mama and an old soul trying to find my place in the world.  My stories are the windows to my soul, it is warm and welcoming in there, please do come in....
